International GSE Expo, the premier aviation ground support equipment event was recently held in Las Vegas, Nevada bringing together airline leaders, airport operators, ground handlers, and technology providers from around the globe with more than 2,700 participants in attendance for the 2025 event. This year’s show highlighted the technology shaping the future of aviation and Oshkosh AeroTech was proud to be at the forefront of that conversation.
For Oshkosh AeroTech, it was an opportunity not only to highlight new products, but also to reinforce its commitment to powering the airport of the future through purpose-built, reliable, and durable solutions. Oshkosh AeroTech’s booth was a standout at this year’s expo, drawing attention with a lineup of innovative solutions that demonstrated the future of ground support equipment. From compact deicers to electric tractors and cargo loaders, the booth highlighted solutions designed to promote efficiency and support the industry’s ongoing shift toward sustainable and safe operations.
In addition to ground support equipment, the company highlighted its gate equipment, airport services, and military-focused solutions. Oshkosh AeroTech’s Gate Equipment business includes Jetway® passenger boarding bridges, JetAire®, Jetpower® and more. When partnered with technology solutions like JetDock® Bridge Docking and iOPS® Intelligent Monitoring Systems, airports can review real-time diagnostics and optimized operations. Technology innovations like these incorporate live data to manage issues in support of the perfect turn.
The company’s Airport Services business provides Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for airport/airline-owned equipment through long-term service contracts. This includes facilities and fixed assets integrated into terminal buildings, such as baggage handling systems that keep passenger flow moving, and passenger boarding bridges that ensure safe and efficient boarding. In addition, Oshkosh AeroTech’s dedicated Project Work Teams specialize in passenger boarding bridges and baggage handling systems for major projects and upgrades. This can include new installations, refurbishments and modernizations, warranty support, and commissioning.
Products & Technology Displayed at International GSE Expo
The event kicked off with Oshkosh AeroTech President Ranjit Nair welcoming guests to the Oshkosh AeroTech booth and unveiling the latest products in the Oshkosh AeroTech portfolio including the Tempest-si™ deicer and Battery-Powered AmpCart™ Towable Charging Platform. These new products were developed with customer feedback and collaborating with industry leaders.
Throughout the three-day show, Oshkosh AeroTech highlighted a wide range of products and technologies across its portfolio, including:
Tempest-si™ Deicer
The Tempest-si™ Deicer is a compact and durable deicing solution. With its streamlined cab, small tank size, and tight turning radius, the Tempest-si™ deicer delivers agile maneuverability in congested ramp ar
Built for durability, the Tempest-si™ deicer incorporates stainless steel shrouding that help withstand harsh, chemical environments and an open stainless-steel basket to support two operators. It also fits into tight spaces without compromising on power, making it a dependable choice for operators who need both performance and reliability in a compact package.
As we celebrate 80 years of Oshkosh AeroTech’s LEKTRO product line, we do so with gratitude to our customers, partners, and team members — past and present — who have powered the brand forward. After joining the Oshkosh Corporation portfolio in 2023, the focus and passion on serving aviation continues with Oshkosh (NYSE:OSK) having a deep technology bench in electrification, autonomy, mobility and more.
Battery-Powered AmpCart™ Towable Charging Platform
During the event, Vice President of Sales, Josh Parkin, and Jon Berry, Director of Operations at Averest, showcased the capabilities of the Battery-Powered AmpCart. Designed to meet the growing demand for flexible, reliable charging infrastructure, AmpCart technology provides on-the-go electric power to keep eGSE operations moving - even in dynamic ramp environments.
The Battery-Powered AmpCart Towable Charging Platform offers remote charging flexibility for up to 12 eGSE units in a highly mobile fashion. eGSE can be charged anywhere on the ramp which can promote time efficiency for staff. The battery-powered mobile unit has no internal combustion engine, delivering full zero-emission performance. This solution is another step in helping the aviation industry advance sustainability and eGSE adoption and builds off the success of the AmpCart platform.
LEKTRO® 88i Tow Vehicle
The LEKTRO® 88i Aircraft Tow Vehicle is an all-electric, highly maneuverable tow vehicle that is ideal for hangar and ramp aircraft positioning in both indoor and outdoor settings. The LEKTRO 88i features an innovative soft strap and cradle system that securely engages the aircraft’s nose gear. By eliminating the need for tow bars, the system reduces equipment requirements, simplifies maintenance, and avoids the complexity often found in other towbarless tractor capture systems. The result is a tractor that promotes efficiency and ease of use, giving operators a smart way to handle aircraft movement. During International GSE Expo, Oshkosh AeroTech team members highlighted the lithium battery option which is now compatible with the LETKRO 88i.
B950 Electric Tractor
Traditionally, pushback tractors have required significant training, but the B950 Electric Tractor is designed for ease of operation, allowing operators to focus on delivering smooth, consistent pushbacks or tows. Driving the B950 feels natural and intuitive, much like driving a car thanks to its automatic transmission, downshift inhibitor, and park-brake interlock. With a battery-powered option available, the B950 supports the industry’s transition to clean, more sustainable ground support operations without sacrificing performance or durability.
B80® Electric Tractor
Oshkosh AeroTech’s B80 Electric Cargo and Baggage Tractor brings together heavy-duty strength and electric power to meet the challenges of today’s airport ramp. Built for tough conditions, it delivers the durability needed for cargo and baggage operations while ensuring operators have a safe and comfortable experience.
What sets the B80 tractor apart is its balance of power and comfort. With advanced front and rear suspension systems, suspension seating, and low-profile driver access, the B80 tractor delivers the smooth ride of a passenger vehicle with the toughness of a designed-for-purpose ramp cargo tractor.
Ranger® Electric Cargo Loader
The Ranger Cargo Loader offers a small footprint, tight turning radius, and leaf spring suspension. It delivers a smooth ride and efficient, easy-to-navigate operation which makes it ideal for today’s fast-paced ramp environment. What makes the Ranger cargo loader stand out is its agility and versatility. The purpose-built nature of the Ranger cargo loader enables it to manage evolving ramp operations with drivability, operator comfort and long-haul reliability.
AgileAir® Cart
This integrated combination air and power cart is designed for versatile airport utility. This is one of many offerings from Oshkosh AeroTech to serve Defense aircraft ground equipment (AGE) customers. The AgileAir cart helps consolidate aircraft ground equipment and control logistics footprint with one powerful piece of equipment. This diesel-powered cart is designed for hangar and flight line support and replaces the A/M32A-60 and A/M32C-10 with a single, modern alternative. With integrated conditioned air, bleed air, and 400 Hz power, the AgileAir Cart boasts a small footprint while promoting equipment uptime, flight line efficiency, fuel management, and more.
