Oshkosh AeroTech Debuts Battery-Powered AmpCart™ Solution

October 1, 2025

Orlando, Fla. (September 30, 2025) – Oshkosh AeroTech, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) business and a leading provider of aviation ground support products, gate equipment, and airport services, introduced its groundbreaking Battery-Powered AmpCart™ Towable Charging Platform at the International GSE Expo 2025, earlier this month in Las Vegas. This next-generation solution underscores Oshkosh AeroTech’s continued investment in innovation and its vision for building smart, sustainable airports of the future.

Oshkosh AeroTech’s battery-powered AmpCart™ platform delivers multiple electric charging points, creating a flexible and efficient way to support electric ground support equipment (eGSE) anywhere on the ramp. Recently expanded with a battery-powered version, AmpCart provides operators with scalable charging infrastructure without requiring costly grid overhauls.

“Our focus is to deliver the right solutions that help airports and airlines transition seamlessly into a new era of zero-emission ground operations,” said Josh Parkin, Vice President of Sales for Oshkosh AeroTech’s Ground Support Equipment business. “Our battery-powered AmpCart solution is a great example of how Oshkosh AeroTech continues to innovate with products and technology designed for performance, sustainability, and efficiency all while anticipating the needs of the airport of the future.”

The development of the battery-powered AmpCart was made possible through a close collaboration with Averest, a trusted leader in advanced energy solutions.

“At Averest, we’re committed to accelerating the aviation industry’s transition to clean energy by providing flexible, high-performance solutions,” said Michael Hole, Director of Global Sales & Marketing. “Working with Oshkosh AeroTech on the battery-powered AmpCart has allowed us to blend our expertise in the electrification of GSE with Oshkosh AeroTech’s deep understanding of airport operations, resulting in a product that will redefine how airports power their ground support fleets.”

International GSE Expo attendees experienced the battery-powered AmpCart firsthand at Oshkosh AeroTech’s booth with product discussions and demonstrations, highlighting how this innovative solution fits into its broader vision for a connected, efficient, and sustainable aviation ecosystem.
