CES 2026 Recap: Powering the Airport of the Future

February 2, 2026

Oshkosh AeroTech was proud to participate in CES 2026, powered by the Consumer Technology Association, as part of Oshkosh Corporation’s (NYSE: OSK) event experience. Hosted in Las Vegas, more than 148,000 attendees joined the transformative event where the future of technology took center stage. At the event, innovation across Oshkosh businesses was highlighted - purpose-built vehicles, equipment and services that are safe, intuitive and productive for everyday heroes.

Specifically, Oshkosh Corporation showcased its vision for airports, job sites and neighborhoods of the future. Autonomy, AI and future-focused solutions were key themes at the event. These prominent themes fit squarely within Oshkosh Corporation’s primary technology pillars of autonomous, AI-enabled, electric and intelligent technology and products. As part of Oshkosh’s broader CES experience, Oshkosh AeroTech showcased how advanced technologies aren’t just concepts, they’re being applied to promote safety, productivity and performance in the demanding environments that airports, cargo professionals and operations staff manage every day.

Developed in collaboration with Pratt Miller, autonomous airport robots at CES 2026 demonstrated how a single, modular robotic platform can support a wide range of commercial aviation tasks including aircraft chocking, cone placement, foreign object debris detection, perimeter security and ground power connections. By enabling one platform to perform multiple jobs, these robotic solutions can help airports manage utilization and ROI. This technology spotlights Oshkosh AeroTech’s continued focus on the airport of the future.

JetDock® Autonomous Technology

The JetDock® Autonomous Technology was also displayed reinforcing how automation can promote precision and efficiency at the gate. Autonomous passenger boarding bridge docking helps enable accurate docking at the push of a button, while autonomous cargo docking technology detects the aircraft door, confirms the approach path and adjusts loader platform height in advance of docking. The system can help reduce aircraft damage risk while promoting consistency and predictability during loading operations. This autonomous technology is part of Oshkosh AeroTech’s broader focus on powering the airport of the future.

Promoting the Perfect TurnImage (62)

The booth also highlighted The Perfect Turn, a connected airport ecosystem powered by Oshkosh AeroTech’s iOPS® Intelligent Monitoring System. The Perfect Turn connects ground support equipment, gate solutions, autonomous robots and airport services into a single intelligent system, helping airlines manage delays and optimize aircraft turnaround times from touchdown to takeoff.

The seamless connectivity of Oshkosh AeroTech products and technology is designed to support a positive travel experience for passengers, while promoting safety and efficiency for airport staff.

Aviation Innovation Across the Oshkosh Corporation Booth

Additionally, the Oshkosh Corporation booth featured a range of aviation-focused solutions across the entire Oshkosh portfolio demonstrating how the company supports customers across the full lifecycle of aviation operations.

Among the solutions on display was JLG® equipment, including a next generation electric boom lift equipped with an autonomous effector system and micro scissor lift with leader follower technology. These versatile access solutions can be used in many environments and reinforced Oshkosh's vision for job sites of the future.

Another standout was the Oshkosh® Striker® Volterra® Electric Airport Rescue and Firefighting Vehicle (ARFF). This vehicle combines electrification with uncompromised firefighting performance, delivering rapid acceleration, low-emission operation and ClearSky™ Intelligence connectivity to support both emergency response and sustainability goals.

Oshkosh AeroTech Tech Talks at CES

Finally, throughout CES 2026, leaders from Oshkosh AeroTech participated in tech talks at the Oshkosh Corporation booth, engaging directly with CES attendees on the technologies and trends shaping the future of airport and cargo operations.260108_OSHKOSH_CES2026_WEBJPEG_Day 4_PHOTO-5014
